The LEE Group launches at Wheaton College
The Laboratory for Environmental Exchange opens in the Department of Physics and Engineering, and is recruiting its first student researchers.
The Laboratory for Environmental Exchange (LEE Group) begins operation this fall in the Department of Physics and Engineering at Wheaton College.
The group studies interfacial transport and transformations in environmental systems: how mass and energy cross the boundaries between water, membranes, minerals, and air, and how the species that cross them are changed along the way. Our work combines bench-scale experiments with multiscale modeling and data-driven analysis.
We are recruiting our first student researchers. If you are curious about how water moves through materials, how separations work, or how modeling and experiment inform each other, please get in touch.
