Sangsuk studies transport and transformation at environmental interfaces, with a background spanning membrane separations, molecular simulation, and data-driven modeling. That training began with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Korea University and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, followed by a Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Boulder and a postdoctoral position at UCLA. Sangsuk joined Wheaton College in 2026.
